Khalirendwe is a passionate writer, wherever she goes she always sees stories unfold and something to write about. She began writing from a young age and loves reading and writing in her mother tongue. Her teacher inspired and fueled her love of reading and writing.
Her first book was published in 2014. “Ganuko ali vhuisi tshalo” this book won the Maskew Miller Longman literature competition in Tshivenda category and she came out number one. The very same book was nominated at the south African literary awards in 2015. Now she has written her second book a Tshivenda novel “zwo da ngae”.
She is also the founder of her casting agency which provides actors, actress and extras for different television stories. She is a growing entrepreneur in the hair and beauty sector, specializing in hair plaiting.
